Nel 1975, dopo la firma con la Buddah records, esce: Peach Melba, che contiene: Sunshine Superman, mentre nel 1976, pubblica: This is it, con l'omonima title track che diventa un hit disco, ottime anche: Make me believe in you, Play Boy Scout, Free. Sempre nel 1976, esce il primo dei due album intitolato: Melba, su questo troviamo: Good Love Makes Everything Alright e: Ain't No Love Lost. L'ultimo LP per la Buddah è: A portrait of Melba, 1977, top tracks: Promised Land e: Standing Right Here. Dopo la firma con la Epic, esce, nel 1978, il secondo album titolato: Melba, dove troviamo l'hit dancefloor: Pick Me Up, I'll Dance, ma anche: You Stepped Into My Life. Chiudo il post con gli ultimi due album in chiusura di 70's: Burn, 1979, con la title track, miss thing, Hot And Tasty e: Night people, quindi: Closer, 1980, con Everything So Good About You e la title track su tutte, entrambi i dischi sono su Epic, praticamente tutti i titoli segnalati dopo il 1976 sono anche su 12".
