musicista e compositore francese, mostro sacro del genere Library, è già apparso qui sull'alfabeto in quanto membro di gruppi già trattati, cioè: Abrax, Godchild, Harlem Pop Trotters, tutta roba di altissima qualità, come le sue collaborazioni dei 70's con Daniel Janin ( in molti dischi accoppiata indissolubile) e anche Francois Rolland ( Les Wanted e Les New Boys). Ricostruire una playlist attraverso collaborazioni alias e false attribuzioni ( ad esempio il misunderstanding con i dischi di Jean Luc Ferrè, dove Pierric appare, ma solo nelle vesti o di produttore o arrangiatore) è stato veramente complicato ma penso di avere assemblato qualcosa di soddisfacente, pescando tra il 1974 e il 1981.

soul vocal trio guidato da Daniel Goldstone, due labum all'attivo nella seconda metà dei 70's, entrambi per la Stone Gold records, il primo: It's time è una perla di modern soul, da cui consiglio lo slow groove di: Of All The Hearts, mentre il secondo: At the Disco, 1978, è decisamente più groovy, con: Later At Night, Pje Funk - Part 1 e Part.2, At The Disco.

soul vocalist e batterista da Philadelphia, città in cui si evolve anche musicalmente, dal 1970 fa parte degli Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, prima come batterista, poi nel corso degli anni anni ne diventa la voce principale fino al 1977, quando in seguito a disaccordi con Harold Melvin, lascia ilgruppo e inizia una notevole carriera solista che fino al 1983 rimane legata alla Philadelphia International. Il primo album, omonimo, esce appunto nel 1977 e contiene: You Can't Hide From Yourself, Be sure, I Don't Love You Anymore, The More I Get, The More I Want, praticamente una perla di Philly soul, disco imperdibile, senza nulla togliere al successivo: Life Is A Song Worth Singing, 1978, da cui consiglio, oltre alla title track: Only you, Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose (Disco version). Sempre nel 1978 esce anche: Live! Coast to Coast, dove c'è l'imperdibile medley: If You Don't Know Me By Now / The Love I Lost / Bad Luck / Wake Up Everybody ( inizia dopo due minuti e mezzo di intro parlata, ma ne vale la pena). Nel 1979 esce Teddy, forse non all'altezza dei primi due, ma pur sempre tanta roba, con: If You Know Like I Know, Do me, Life is a circle. Dagli 80's segnalo i primi due LP, ovvero: TP, del 1980, con: Take Me In Your Arms Tonight e Love T.K.O., che è una ballad, ma talmente bella che non potevo non citarla. Chiudiamo con il 1981 e: It's time for love, sicuramente il lavoro più scarso tra tutti quelli precedenti, consiglio comunque: Keep On Lovin' Me, I Can't Leave Your Love Alone.
