il mitico front man dei Roxy music, dal 1973 porta avanti una carriera solista parallelamente al gruppo di cui è membro fondatore, in quest'anno infatti esce il suo primo solo album: Theese foolish things, Island Records, classici del rock rivisitati dal dandy per eccellenza, ma per quanto riguarda questa pagina avrei da citare solo tre brani: The 'In' Crowd, il classico firmato Billy Page, da: Another Time, Another Place , Island, 1974, quindi: Let's Stick Together, dall'album Island omonimo del 1976 e, per chiudere: Take me to the river da: The Bride Stripped Bare, Polydor, 1977.
