cantante, ballerina e attrice, dotata di una oce spettacolare abbinata ad un notevole talento che inizia ad esprimere dalla seconda metà dei 60's, pubblica una manciata di singoli 7" che finiscono tutti sull'album omonimo del 1968, per la Epic. Disco veramente bello, da cui segnalo: I wanna be free, Down here on the ground, Harper Valley P.T.A. e: Walk on my side. Nel 1973 esce un singolo notevole: I feel the earth move, cover di Carol King, sempre Epic. Nella seconda metà dei 70's la Reed cavalca l'onda Disco alla grande, iniziando con Brown sugar, album per la H & L records (Hugo e Luigi ), 1976, che contiene: Ohh baby what you do tome, Solid rock, Mighty lover . Replica nel 1978 con: Another side, su Liberty, dove troviamo: Start dancin', Sweet harmony ( anche su 12") e: You came. Nessun calo di tensione anche per Ready & waiting, United artists 1979, che oltre alla title track, contiene: Trippin' The Lights Fantastic e Shadow Dancin'. Chiudo con l'album omonimo su Carrere del 1980, da cui consiglio: Faith & fire ( anche su 12") e: Crazy heartache.
