Rim Kwaku Obeng, percussionista e polistrumentista dal Ghana, attivissimo già nei 70's quando viene chiamato addirittura da Quincy Jones per la sua band. Nel 1980 pubblica il fenomele album: Rim Arrives, su Rising times records, una vera bomba afrobeat, da cui consiglio: Funky drummer, Believe in yourself, Gas line , Brushing Means Making Love e Spend your money. Altra esperienza importante quella con Kasa, con cui pubblica un EP di Afro\funk per il quale faccio uno strappo alla regola di non andare oltre il 1981, anche perchè per un solo anno, essendo del 1982, non potevo privare l'alfabeto del super afro beat di: Love Me For Real, ma anche di Shine The Ladies e I'm a songwriter, tutte sul 12" : Too Tough, edito da Sum Sum records, bello e raro, non poteva mancare.
