Robert McElhiney James, conosciuto professionalmente come Bob James, è un tastierista jazz americano, arrangiatore e produttore discografico. Ha fondato la band Fourplay, mentre la musica dei suoi album da solista è stata spesso campionata e ha contribuito alla formazione dell'hip hop, da questi vi propongo, come sempre, una selezione di brani consigliati.
