O' Jays

 alfieri del Philly sound, ma provenienti da Canton, Ohio, nati nel 1958 come duo gospel ampliano la formazione e durante i 60's calcano le scene come the Mascots, quindi: the Triumphs, sempre nella zona di Cleveland, dove lavora, in una radio locale: Eddie O'Jay, il nome della band è quindi un tributo a questo personaggio leggendario delle FM radio che faceva anche parte del management team di Frankie Crocker.
