soul funk band da Greensboro, North Carolina, nascono come Party Brother nel 1966, back up band di Jamo Thomas, vocalist e produttore con cui incidono alcuni 7", tra i quali segnalo: Let Me Be The One / A & T's Party, su: Canusa, 1967 \ Jive Mother-In-Law / Nassau Daddy, su: Sound Stage 7, 1967 , la B side Nassau Daddy viene ripubblicata nel 68 su Revue, con Do the Groundhog sul lato B \ Education Is Where It's At, Decca 1968 e per concludere: Bahama Mama ( anche se non citati al fianco di Thomas), Sound Stage 7, 1968. Staccatisi da Thomas e affidando le produzioni a George D. Bishop III, diventano: the Mighty Majors ( o solamente Majors) e azzeccano un bel paio di singoli 7": Rap, Rap, Rap / What You See Is What You Get, su Gate City records 1971 e: The Majors' Boogie, su Bandit, seconda metà dei 70's. L'ultima incisione della band avverrà nel 1984 con un brano electro rap\hip hop: Break dance.
