Come solista incide nel 1976, l'album: Challenge, perla TB & C enterprises, indie label di Detroit, che contiene le cover di: I Wish e Fly like an Eagle, oltre a sue composizioni come: The Do-Do Walk e Stone country, inoltre, altri brani che riproporrà sull'album Solar funk del 1979, per la Source records, sto parlando di: Solar funk, Tibetan serenity, Autumn Jewel e Ven A Bailar Conmigo. Dall'album del 79, inediti sul precedente, troviamo anche: Nashville express e After the storm.
